Alexandra Merisoiu

The Body Engineer, Karate National Champion, Back Pain Specialist, Founder of The Merisoiu Technique Institute

Alexandra works with people who have a passion and want to excel through strong foundations. It is more than just fitness and fun, it is body mastery based on Martial Arts Wisdom™ and Natural Human Movement™. Her clients are passionate and dedicated to get the results they seek.

Alexandra is also a passionate Karate champion. Since 1995 she has explored how the body and mind works. She has done this through using many different sporting techniques and working with a wide variety of highly respected coaches.

She has been ranked 1st in the WMO BRITISH NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, 2nd and 3rd at WORLD KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP, 2 times NATIONAL KARATE CHAMPION, WORLD CUP CHAMPION and is a 3rd Dan Black Belt in Karate Shotokan. She still competes at an international level.

It is through these learnings that she has created The Merisoiu Technique and has established her own unique transformational programs that incorporate thousands of years of knowledge with Natural Human Movement™.

Her mission is to challenge the status quo of how to get fit, and enable people to reach their goals. 

This is done through building strong, lasting foundations in the natural outdoor environment; reducing the risk of injuries and educating people on the power of the fundamentals of Natural Human Movement™ and Martial Arts Wisdom.

but by what you do behind closed doors, when no one is looking. 

The habits you create and maintain when you are alone are those that will shape your life. 

Over the past 20 year I have studies how the body functions and how the mind works. 

Because of debilitating injuries as a teenager I've become obsessed about body 

mechanics and how  to reduce the risk of injuries as a result of body mis-use. 

After 20 years of studying, testing and applying different principles and methods for 

weight loss, strength, fitness I have filtered out what works and what doesn't, 

and have created The Merisoiu Technique.
